长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授,从事分布式系统、Internet路由协议、Internet中代理的放置、广域网中波长转换器的放置、文件及其副本的一致性控制、Internet上合作编辑系统一致性控制、移动Ad Hoc网络等方面的研究工作研究项目18项,发表论文130余篇,其中SCI索引50余篇。担任国际杂志 Journal of Combinatorial Optimization (Kluwer Academic Pub) 的编委, Special Issue on Cluster Computing on the Internet, Cluster Computing: A Journal of Computer Software and Communications (Baltzer Pub) 和 Special Issue on Web Servers and Content Distribution Networks (CDN), Journal of World Wide Web: Internet and Web Information Systems (Kluwer Academic Pub) 的客座编委,是关于分布式系统和计算机通讯方面的很多国际会议的组委会成员或者主席,是IEEE高级会员、IEEE计算机学会和IEEE通信学会会员。2013年05月 第九批入选“千人计划”国家特聘专家。
